Unlock the art of lost wax carving with personalised, one-on-one tuition at By Eileen Studio in Adelaide. Perfect for beginners or those with some jewellery-making experience, this class focuses solely on the ancient technique of wax carving - the first step to creating unique, cast jewellery pieces.
Each private session runs for 3 hours and is tailored to your skill level and design goals. You’ll learn how to shape, carve and refine jeweller’s wax into your own design, ready for casting in silver or gold.

- Up to 10g of silver + 3 cz *optional upgrades to solid gold + additional purchase of stones or more silver available
Once your wax pieces are completed, they will be sent off to a third party to be casted. They will then be cleaned, finished and polished before returning to you in 2-3weeks.
Please note that this class does not include the metal finishing - get in contact once purchased if you would like to add on "metal finishing" class.

Booking Information:
Sessions must be booked in advance. Located in Adelaide’s Rundle Mall, By Eileen Studio provides a fully equipped jewellery workspace and professional guidance to bring your ideas to life.
This class only runs on weekdays. Once purchased, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable time.
Yes, you can certainly wear them in water; and yes you can also use your standard skincare products.
For the longevity of your jewellery we do recommend avoiding harsh chemicals such as cleaning products and alcohol based perfumes. Wash them with a soft brush and warm soapy water; and polish them with polishing cloth to keep them shiny.
It is best to remove jewellery before showering swimming, sleeping, washing your hands or applying lotion or perfume. Some of the raw gemstones can also get damaged when in contact with water.
Be careful to avoid tugging your pieces when putting them on or off.
When not in use, store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, ideally in an airtight plastic ziplock bag, box or pouch (like the one we supply with delivery) to avoid tarnishing. Store separately to prevent scratching and tangling.
